Heuchera americana (American Alumroot) is a species of perennial herb in the family Saxifragaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and North America. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Small garden bumblebee and Early bumblebee.
