Crepidula fornicata (Common Slipper Shell) is a species of Gastropoda in the family slipper limpets. They are native to Canada, United States, Atlantic Coast Of North America, Atlantic Ocean, and Mexico. Dead Common Slipper Shell form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 50 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
