Cabomba furcata (Forked Fanwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Cabombaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Pantanal, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, Caatinga, Cerrado, Pará, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Pampa, RondôNia, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Amazônia, Roraima, Maranhao, ParaíBa, GoiáS, The Americas, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, and Tocantins. They have loculicidal capsule fruit.
