Crepidula excavata (Broderip 1834)

Crepidula excavata is a species of snails in the family slipper limpets. Dead Crepidula excavata form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 22 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
