Hamamelis virginiana (American Witchhazel) is a species of shrub in the family Hamamelidaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Eastern North America, and United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Eastern Yellowjacket, Toxomerus geminatus, and Pyreferra citrombra. Individuals can grow to 20 feet.
