Sida spinosa (Prickly Fanpetals) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Paraná, Alagoas, ParaíBa, Cerrado, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, The Contiguous United States, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pernambuco, Ceará, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Carpenter Bees. Individuals can grow to 0.64 m.
