Malacothamnus abbottii (Abbot's Bushmallow) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Closterocoris amoenus, Trichodes, Mordella grandis, and Augochlorella pomoniella.
