Rhododendron lapponicum (Lapland Rosebay) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Bumble Bees, Scatopsciara, Botanophila, and Culicoides. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
