Eriogonum umbellatum (Sulphur Flower Buckwheat) is a species of shrub in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by California Tortoiseshell, Marine Blue, Northern Cloudywing, and Euphilotes glaucon. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
