Thespesia populnea (Portia Tree) is a species of tree in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by soldier flies, Honey bee, Olive-Haired Swift, and Mauritius ornate day gecko. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
