Cupania americana (Wild Ackee) is a species of tree in the family Sapindaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, Roraima, AmazôNia, and The Neotropics. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Vireo, Loxigilla portoricensis, and Red-legged Thrush. Individuals can grow to 59 feet.
