Description: New species for me! I had neglected to explore this park over the past two years, now I am grateful to find that there is still a place nearby where I can discover new species. This is a sizable park, for the DC Metro Area, and although certain sections are overgrown with invasive species, there is also a very nice wetland area and meadows which are maintained by preventing trees from taking over, which appear to be some of the most biodiverse grassland type habitat in the area. This is a very exciting discovery for me. The only difficult part is that I have to restrain myself from hiking too much. Date: Taken on 13 June 2014, 19:21. Source:
