Solanum mauritianum Scop.

Solanum mauritianum (Earleaf Nightshade) is a species of tree in the family nightshades. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Uruguay. They have simple, broad leaves and berry. Flowers are visited by Aframegilla, sweat bees, Meliponula, and Zonalictus. Individuals can grow to 4.5 m.
