Acnistus arborescens (Hollowheart) is a species of shrub in the family nightshades. They are climbers. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Norte, ParaíBa, Bahia, Puerto Rico, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Sergipe, U.S. Virgin Islands, Alagoas, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Ceará, Espirito Santo, Paraná, Pernambuco, and The Neotropics. They have berries. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Festive Coquette, Aellopos ceculus, and Hylocharis cyanus.
