They are native to Latvia, France, Italy, Ukraine, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Greece, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Belarus, Georgia, The Netherlands, Iran, Kazakhstan, Albania, Denmark, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Poland, Armenia, Austria, Spain, Russia, Turkey, Ireland, Estonia, Germany, Azerbaijan, Belgium, and Lithuania. Flowers are visited by Amegilla atrocincta, Small garden bumblebee, Early bumblebee, and Tree Bumble Bee.
