Ligustrum sinense (Chinese Privet) is a species of tree in the family Oleaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Laos, Vietnam, Eastern North America, and China. They have simple, broad leaves and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Lovebug, Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Red Admiral, and Pipevine Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 5.5 m.
