Vigorous climber or liane with coiled tendrils, often found climbing and scrambling over other vegetation. Leaves ovate with conspicuous veining impressed above and prominent below; margins finely serrate. Inflorescences of elongated many-flowered racemes. Flowers creamy white. Fruit 6 × 11 mm, slightly fleshy, 3-winged.
