Ceiba speciosa (Pink Kapok Tree) is a species of tree in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, The Neotropics, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pará, Paraná, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, Amazônia, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso, and Santa Catarina. They have broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Large Orange Sulphur, Honey bee, Long-tailed Skipper, and Cymaenes isus. Individuals can grow to 4.7 m.
