Ocotea puberula is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Paraná, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Alagoas, Pará, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Acre (Brazil), Amapá, Amazônia, Rio de Janeiro, Amazônia, Cerrado, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, Goiás, and Mata Atlântica. Ocotea puberula has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 20 m. Reproduction is dioecious.
