Aloysia virgata (Acerillo) is a species of shrub in the family Verbenaceae. They are native to Bahia, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, Pantanal, The Neotropics, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, GoiáS, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, and Santa Catarina. Flowers are visited by Faithful Beauty, Gray Hairstreak, Brown-belted Bumblebee, and Slosson's Metalmark Moth.
