Thymus praecox polytrichus is a subspecies of semi-woody plants in the family Lamiaceae. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Mountain Ringlet, bumblebee hoverfly, Bombus monticola, and Nomada fabriciana. Individuals can grow to 0.057 m.
