Hyptis dilatata is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Roraima, AmazôNia, RondôNia, AmazôNia, Cerrado, Amapá, Mato Grosso, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polybia ignobilis (Haliday 1836), Palpada pusio (Wiedemann 1830), digger wasp, and Tarantula Hawks.
