Perennial herbs. Leaves with minute bristles in the axis. Flowers in pseudumbels, spirally arranged around the top of the peduncle. Corolla with densely woolly upper surface. Corona 5-lobed; lobes projected into 2 short horns directed over the staminal column. Follicles ellipsoid. Seeds with tuft of hairs.
