Macrocneme chrysitis, the southern cyan tiger moth, is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It was described by Félix Édouard Guérin-Méneville in 1844. It is found in Texas,[1] Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama and Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.[2]

Macrocneme chrysitis is een beervlinder uit de familie van de spinneruilen (Erebidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1843 door Guérin-Meneville.
