Gutenbergia cordifolia is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Africa. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Megachile venusta, Thyreus calceatus, Tetraloniella junodi, and Xylocopa caffra. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
