Micranthes crenatifolia Small, sp. nov
Leaves spreading, 2-3 cm. long, the blades obovate, cuneate or orbicularflabellate, coarsely crenate, at least above the middle, glabrous or nearly so on both sides at maturity ; scapes relatively stout, erect, solitary, about 15 cm. tall, closely glandular-pubescent with short hairs throughout, but more densely so above; cymules permanently contracted, the lower ones terminating peduncles a few mm. in length ; sepals deltoid or ovatedeltoid, obtuse, scarcely if at all ciliate; petals obovate, about 1,5 mm. long, rounded at the apex, shorter than the sepals, narrowed into stout, claw-like bases.
