Sporobolus michauxianus (Freshwater Cord Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Eastern North America, Western North America, United States, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
