Sporobolus michauxianus (Freshwater Cord Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They are native to Canada, North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Eastern North America, Western North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Melissodes bimaculatus. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
