Comptonia peregrina (Sweet Fern) is a species of shrub in the family Myricaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Eastern North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.61 m.
