The following description was drawn up from a specimen collected in Leamington Rd, Harare: Perennial, climbing or trailing, twining herb. Leaves opposite, petiolate; lamina triangular-ovate;
base cordate; apex acuminate; margin shallowly crenate-serrate. Capitula 8-10 mm, cylindric, in congested corymbs on peduncles
2-4 cm, each one arising at the same point as the petiole of a
lf. Phyllaries 5-7 mm, subequal, 4 appressed with 1 spreading
outer bract. Achenes 2-3 mm, black, dotted with glands, 5-angled.
Pappus of c.40 scabrid bristles.
