Viburnum plicatum (Japanese Snowball) is a species of shrub in the family Adoxaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Eucetonia roelofsi, Anaglyptus niponensis, Lasioglossum transpositum, and Corymbas nipponica. Individuals can grow to 3.2 m.
