Carphephorus odoratissimus (Deer Tongue) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Pipevine Swallowtail, Say's Cuckoo-leaf-cutter, Agapostemon splendens, and Hostile Leaf-cutter Bee.
