Semicassis pyrum is a species of snails in the family helmet shells. They are native to New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Semicassis pyrum form shallow marine sediments. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 49.2 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
