Comments

The leaflets vary greatly in size and shape, even on the same individual.

The intended new combination"Ampelopsis cantoniensis var. lecoides" [sic] (F. Y. Lu, Fl. Taiwan 3: 667. 1977) was not validly published because no full and direct reference was given to the author and place of valid publication of the basionym, Vitis leeoides Maximowicz (Vienna Code, Art. 33.4).
