They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Eastern North America. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Brown-belted Bumblebee, Gray Hairstreak, Great Golden Digger Wasp, and Marine Blue. Individuals can grow to 0.44 m.
