Angarioidea is a superfamily of small to medium sized sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the clade Vetigastropoda.[1]
The superfamily Angarioidea was created as a new superfamily by Williams et al. (2008).[2] The same suggest that something similar may be done in the future for Arene, but Bouchet & Rocroi (2005) note that Areneinae McLean, 2001, introduced in a congress abstract, is not an available family-level name.[1]

鐘螺總科（學名：Trochoidea），又名馬蹄螺總科，是软体动物门腹足纲古腹足類支序（Vetigastropoda）的鐘螺目（Trochida）之下唯一一個總科，均為有鰓及口蓋的物種[1]，而且貝殼的內層都有珠母層。本總科是古腹足類支序之下最大的一個總科，包括有超過二千個物種[2]。
留意本分類的學名跟有肺目一種蝸牛的屬的學名一樣拼法。
根據布歇特和洛克羅伊的腹足類分類 (2005年)，本總科之下有九個科，分別如下[3][4]：

另外，原來的口螺科 Stomatellidae Gray, 1840（亦作Stomatiidae）則被下降成為了鐘螺科之下的口螺亞科 Stomatellinae Gray, 1840[4][7]。
