Cosmos bipinnatus (Garden Cosmos) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Bombus vancouverensis nearcticus, Triepeolus helianthi, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and Megachile policaris. Individuals can grow to 1.6 m.
