Corethrogyne filaginifolia (Common Sandaster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Heliopetes ericetorum, Vanessa virginiensis, Lyssavirus rabies, and Checkered White.
