Gaillardia aristata (Common Gaillardia) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Melissodes microsticta, Long Dash, Osmia juxta, and Osmia coloradensis. Individuals can grow to 0.61 m.
