Trypauchen vagina é uma espécie de peixe da família Gobiidae e da ordem Perciformes.[5]

Morfologia

Predadores

Na Índia sofre predação por Johnius dussumieri[8] e Otolithes cuvieri[9].[10]

Habitat

É um peixe de clima tropical e demersal.[6]

Distribuição geográfica

Pode ser encontrado em muitas regiões indo-pacíficas, incluindo o Mar da China e o arquipélago Indo-Australiano. É encontrado nos países: Bangladesh[11][12], Camboja, China (incluindo Hong Kong)[13][14], Índia[15][16][17], Indonésia[18], Kuwait, Malásia, Birmânia, Omã[19], nas Filipinas[20][21][22], Singapura, África do Sul, Taiwan[23][24][25][26], Tailândia[27] e Vietname.[28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39]

Uso comercial

Poe vezes é comercializado fresco.[40]

Observações

É inofensivo para os humanos.[6]
