Oreochromis niloticus (Nile Tilapia) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Cichlidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ghana, Kenya, Eritrea, Rwenzori Range, Uganda, Angola, Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Gambia River, Chad, Nigeria, Senegal River, Africa, Ethiopia, Niger River, and River Nile. Individuals can grow to 60 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
