Description: Characterized by yellowish tan color; brownish on head and upper back; caudal rays 14-15; vertebrae 12+ 32-33= 44-45; eye 1.8-2.4 % SL; depth of body at origin of anal fin 13.9-17.5 (mean 15.4) % SL; anterior nostril low on snout, next to upper lip; two pairs of pseudoclaspers, outer broad-based and large with pointed tip and distal knob on inner side, nearly as large as inner pseudoclasper, connected to outer pseudoclasper anteriorly; absent upper preopercular pore; no opercular scales; posterior cheek with vertically elongate scale patch (Ref. 90102).
