Mesobius berryi és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 39,2 cm de llargària total.^[4][5]

Reproducció

És ovípar i les larves planctòniques.^[6]

Hàbitat

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu fins als 2700 m de fondària, tot i que, normalment, ho fa entre 650-1000.^[7][4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des del sud de Califòrnia (Estats Units) i Baixa Califòrnia (Mèxic) fins a les Illes Hawaii^[8] i l'Illa Christmas.^[4]

Mesobius berryi is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van rattenstaarten (Macrouridae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1977 door Hubbs & Iwamoto.

貝里脊首長尾鱈，為輻鰭魚綱鱈形目鼠尾鱈科的其中一種，分布於東太平洋夏威夷群島至加利福尼亞灣海域，屬深海底棲性魚類，深度0-2700公尺，體長可達39.2公分，棲息在底中層水域，生活習性不明。
