Coryphaenoides leptolepis és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 62 cm de llargària total.^[5][6]

Reproducció

És ovípar i les larves planctòniques.^[7]

Hàbitat

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 610-4000 m de fondària,^[8] tot i que, normalment, ho fa entre 1900-3700.^[5][9]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Mauritània, Brasil (Recife) i des d'Alaska^[10][11] fins a la Colúmbia Britànica (Canadà)^[12] i el sud de Califòrnia.^[13][5]

Coryphaenoides leptolepis is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van rattenstaarten (Macrouridae).^[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1877 door Günther.

小鱗突吻鱈，為輻鰭魚綱鱈形目鼠尾鱈科的其中一種，分布於大西洋茅利塔尼亞外海至中洋脊、東太平洋阿拉斯加至加州南部海域，體長可達62公分，屬深海底棲性魚類，深度610-4000公尺，棲息在底層水域，生活習性不明。
