Eggs are oblong capsules with stiff pointed horns at the corners deposited in sandy or muddy flats (Ref. 205). Egg capsules are 5.1-7.6 cm long and 3.2-3.8 cm wide (Ref. 41308). Males reaches maturity at ca. 46 cm TL. Occassionally caught as bycatch and typically discarded (Ref. 114953).
