Pristis pristis (Common Sawfish) is a species of vertebrates in the family sawfishes. This species is extinct. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are carnivores. Individuals could grow to 750 cm. Reproduction was iteroparous and ovoviviparous.
