Carcharhinus altimus (Bignose Shark) is a species of modern sharks in the family requiem sharks. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. Individuals can grow to 300 cm. Reproduction is viviparous and iteroparous. They rely on carcharhiniform to move around.
