Astreopora moretonensis Veron & Wallace 1984

Astreopora moretonensis (Starflower Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Starflower Coral form shallow marine sediments. Starflower Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
