Leiosolenus aristatus (Dillwyn 1817)

Leiosolenus aristatus is a species of bivalves in the family Marine Mussels. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Adult Leiosolenus aristatus form marine reefs. Dead Leiosolenus aristatus form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 188 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
