Mytilus planulatus (Australian Mussel) is a species of mussels in the family Marine Mussels. They are native to Tasman Sea and New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Adult Australian Mussel form marine reefs. Dead Australian Mussel form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction.
