MATERIAL EXAMINED: Eltanin Stn 1535.
DISTRIBUTION: Kerguelen Island (?-150 m) and South Georgia (97-101 m).
REMARKS: Four specimens from Eltanin Stn 1535, off South Georgia, match Thiele's description and figure of P. pellitus. The rather heavy periostracum is arranged in axial plates, drawn out into expanded fringes where these plates cross the spiral cords, as described for pellitus.”
